The government back than authorized Curacao Ports Authority to be the owner of the starting tug company.

The company not only did services in the harbors of Curacao, but expanded its services within the Caribbean Region by doing towage and salvage jobs. Recently KTKtugs sold 2 of its tugs and has two new pilot boats making its fleet of 7 tugboats and 5 pilot boats.
