Commercial Director

In this challenging position, you are responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation and realization of the strategic commercial policy and objectives of the organization and also you will supervise all commercial activities.

Key responsibilities are i.a.:

  • Tracking of relevant internal and external developments of the tugboat industry and translation of these into strategic commercial plans;
  • Development of commercial strategies and objectives;
  • Ensure market share growth and other strategic business matters;
  • Development of marketing strategies and plans to promote the organization as market leader
    in the region;
  • Ensure growth of revenue through the search and development of new “business
    opportunities”;
  • Exploration of commercial opportunities for long-term cooperation and lasting contacts;
  • Timely identification of risks and bottlenecks concerning growth and to work strategically to
    prevent/mitigate possible consequences;
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.

In addition, the candidate has:

  • A commercial/economic education on an academic level;
  • Experience in an “executive management” position;

    trust of both immediate co-workers and organization-wide personnel;
  • An pro-active attitude;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
